AITEC Attachment
The AITEC Attachment Program offers students practical, hands-on agricultural experience at our Agricultural Innovation and Technology Centers (AITEC). This program is designed for students who need to fulfill their university attachment requirements while gaining exposure to advanced technologies and in-depth learning.
We aim to equip the brightest agricultural students—those aspiring to become the next generation of agricultural leaders—with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the modern agricultural landscape.

AITEC Internship
The AITEC Internship is a 6-month immersive program for recent university graduates provides field-based training in advanced agronomic innovations shaping the future of agriculture. The program is focused on equipping young professionals with practical skills. Based at AITEC farms the internship provides hands-on experience in precision irrigation, vegetable and fruit tree production, seedling propagation, and climate-smart technologies.
Interns work directly with agricultural experts and farmers, contributing to real-world projects that enhance food security and resilience.

Core Training Areas
Seedling & Nursery Management: Propagation techniques, nursery business models, and plant health.
Modern Irrigation Systems: Operation and maintenance of drip and sprinkler systems.
Soil Fertility & Composting: Sustainable soil management and fertility enhancement.
Crop Management: High-value vegetable production, pest and disease control, and harvesting protocols.
Farm Business & Value Chains: Basics of agri-business, recordkeeping, and market linkage strategies.
Demonstration Site Management: Planning and maintaining plots used for farmer training and public education.
